Student Ministry (Click here for more information)

The youth of Friendship have something going on for them every time the church doors are open.  Whether it is Sunday School at 9:15 on Sunday mornings or on Wednesday nights at 6:15 pm, there is a place for our 7th-12th graders to get connected and grow in their relationship with God and one another.

College

Friendship Baptist Church loves college-aged kids!  During the school year, we have a Sunday School class at 9:15 geared just for their age and where they are in life. Did we mention there is usually breakfast there?  Plus, we love to get these students involved in the leading of worship, helping to mentor and lead our younger students and form relationships with our older members.  If you are looking to have a family to love on you while you are away from home at college, then Friendship is the place for you.

Ministry to Families

Wednesday Night Family Dinners

Friendship offers a weekly Wednesday night meal. Dinner is served starting at 5:30. Come out for a low-cost, home-cooked meal each and every week (with exceptions for special occasions)!

Ministry to the Needy

Food Pantry (affiliated with United Churches of Marshall)

Friendship volunteers multiple times throughout the year, staffing the pantry for an entire week. We also donate food and financial aid.
The Marshall Food Pantry is open Monday thru Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It is located at 1709 S. Bomar Street in Marshall.

Samaritan’s Purse–Operation Christmas Child

This is a seasonal opportunity for church members to fill shoeboxes as Christmas gifts to children who are in need all over the world. We hope to bring them and their families to faith in Christ by showing the generosity of Jesus.

Men of Friendship

Volunteers work together on various mission projects on local, state, and out-of-state levels. Often, some sort of construction or repair is necessary. Should you sense that God has gifted you in these areas and might be leading you to help, contact us!

Ministry through Prayer

Marshall Prayer Force

Volunteers from the church commit to pray daily for an assigned law officer or firefighter in our community.

Friendship Prayer Chain

Our church offers two separate prayer chains whereby urgent prayer needs can be communicated throughout the congregation. Participants are always welcome!

Weekly Prayer Gathering

Every Wednesday night at 6:30, we gather in the Family Life Center for the specific purpose of praying. We pray over our church prayer list, lifting up those with health and other concerns. Beyond that, we pray as the scriptures guide us. We humble ourselves before God, seeking His direction for our church. It is a blessed time every week, and perhaps the most important thing we do as a church. Come join us!

Ministry through Organized Missions

Yearly Mission Trip

Our missions committee strives each year to make a missions experience available to the people of Friendship.

Ministry through Music

Choir

Our choir practices on most Sunday evenings and leads us in worship on many Sunday mornings. We are always looking for more folks willing and able to sing. We are especially interested in folks passionate about worshipping God through song!
